Arcane Blast Overview:

Arcane Blast is an arcade orientated, fast-paced rogue-like with a lot of magic. Adrian is your main character; he is a feline mage who must learn seven kinds of elements and perform the interaction of these elements to create rather strong reactions based on the battles with incredible waves of enemies. It’s your mission to assist Adrian to free himself from the mysterious time dungeon in order to look for a way back home.

Jess known as Adrian once was the great sorcerer, but his former student stabbing him in the back and sending him to the Shadowvillie. Now you have to control Adrian while the hero steadily regains his magical powers and reveals new non-trivial facts and battles enemies.

Each game session or ‘run’ takes about 20 to 40 minutes, but the game can go on for as long as you want, and every run will bring new spells, abilities or upgrades. There could be no two runs which can be claimed to look exactly alike. Each time, you will be able to diversify the spells and power-ups you collect in order to increase the mage’s powers, and encounter different tasks.

It is also possible to meet bosses on your way who are endowed with their own special abilities, and after they are defeated – it is possible to get useful equipment. As you progress through the game, there are also some magical creatures that you encounter that would assist you in recovering your magical power that has been drained thus exploring more of Shadowvillie.

It allows you to go it alone or team up with friends to go on the adventure as a team. The player can select his or her unique magical path, deciding to use just one element or starting random elements all together. But watch out it gets tough the more persons in your group.

Adrian’s magic is based on seven core elements: air, darkness, fire, frost, lightning, nature and water. If you manage to get hold of the powers you should be capable of combining them to produce ultimate strikes. Some of the action that you take includes: throwing fireballs at the enemies, creating whirlwinds and hurling water spheres at the enemies to subdue them.
