Blackthorn Arena Reforged Overview:

Blackthorn Arena Reforged comes with a real-time combat system, but if you prefer, you can switch to an auto-battler system whenever you want. There more than 30 hours of gameplay, with tons of events and side missions that keep things fresh. As the arena master, you’ll need to buy slaves, train them into gladiators, and manage their stats, skills, and equipment. Some slaves can even be trained for special roles like cooks, healers, or blacksmiths making them valuable beyond just fighting.

Your gladiators will fight in over 14 different arenas, or you can send them out to explore The Freelands for loot and secrets. Winning battles earns you money, new slaves, better equipment, is upgrades for your arena. Reputation also plays a big part, as it affects how much money your arena makes. Is don’t forget, other gladiators across the world are constantly competing, so your gladiators aren’t the only ones out there fighting. They can get injured, die, or even get stronger with each fight.

The game features a deep character development system where you can choose major attributes and weapon types plus combine over 100 combat skills to make each gladiator unique. Gladiators will also gain traits over time which influence how they perform in battle. With more than 500 pieces of armor and weapons, you can gear up your fighters for both effectiveness and style. Some of these items are legendary and hidden for you to discover.

As the arena master, you’ll face tons of events every day—some opportunities, others disasters. Managing they challenges is a key part of the job. There are also side missions which let you send your gladiators on quests like highway robberies, dungeon explorations, and beast hunting.

If you want to spice things up, you can send gladiators on explorations to capture rare creatures and put them in the arena for the grand finale of Venationes. The combat isn’t limited to just 1v1 fights—there are team battles tournaments, and special events that will test your skills in different ways. You can pause the real-time combat at any time to give orders, switch between characters, or take other actions to gain the upper hand.
