Embark on a graceful adventure in **Bō: Thus the origin of **Path of the Teal Lotus**, the elegant hand-drawn 2. A relatively unknown indie title that can be described as a mix of action and platformer in which the player fights through five dimensions that are based on Japanese mythology. Solve puzzles and battle your way through a technicolour landscape or magical creatures as you seek the truth behind your forgotten past.

It is a sidescrolling action adventure game where you’re **Bō** – a celestial blossom: a fox-like creature from the heavens – who is to complete an ancient prophecy. Using your bō staff, you will be able to perform acrobatic moves and super jumps while defeating cute and strange yokai and gigantic creatures that have been pulled from the pages of Japanese folklore and mythology.

On your way through this complex world, you will be visiting different types of terrains. From a long inconspicuous castle to the busy city fully decorated in traditional Japanese fashion, it’s packed with hidden features and tricks. The **Metroidvania** aspect of the game makes you go back to some of these locations to find new ways and treasures as the player character gains new powers.

As with most platforming games, getting past the various obstacles challenging the gamer to be as precise as elegant. The move-and-reset system of Bō makes it possible to move to new areas as a cycle and to recover in case of any hiccup. This system is used to manage the game’s fast and dynamic movement, as well as, the acrobatic movements of the character.
