Corpus Edax Overview:

This is a first person melee roleplay game in which you can be whoever you wish to be, literally, and the game’s name is CORPUS EDAX. There are no predetermined obligations, you can invent your own hero and can shoot, speak or avoid situations. The game is located in a futuristic megacity on the eve of a revolution on a world teeming with a concealed secrets. It means you don’t need to rely solely on guns and explosives, but on your own body, improvised weapons and wit.

The game has a skill system; which consists of A. G. N. I. S. skills that include Allure, Grit, Nerd, Intuition, Strength. You can pick up objects and thus get to the new areas, or simply climb over the obstacles. If a door is locked, you can hack it, lockpick it, breach it, or talk the guard into letting you in. Your character’s stats also affect dialogue, providing unique dialogue a options based on how you refine is attributes. You can get branching dialogues or simply jump to them if you like.

Indeed, interaction in “CORPUS EDAX” is dynamically governed by the physical laws so that when you try to throw a chair or a pipe at enemies, they will behave realistically. How you behave in the world affects your reputation which is measured by three traits. This then means that insightful impulsive and altruistic are the nutrient triplets comprising of Insightful, Impetuous and Altruistic. These traits open up new dialogue options and alter the way people in the game interact with you.

Golf is unique because you have the ultimate control in how you wish to go about it. You can be an assassin using speed and a silence to your advantage. The third path would be focusing on Grit and Combat attributes and making character a fearless warrior. As for Allure and Intuition if you just do not like fighting you can always ‘out play’ the opponent.

The story is set approximately ninety nine years after humans fled from earth due to its inability to sustain life. Thus, the newly discovered planet was by chance and became a planet that hosted a new society with strict rules. Those who contribute to the government the most are those categorized as type A while those who contribute the least are type.
