In Dicefolk myths, there is a myth about the so-called Will was sealed with a Talisman which possesses the peculiar quality of domesticating the scarce magical creatures called Chimeras. This powerful symbol – a symbol that was thought to be gone for good – was concealed for good reason so it could not be used by the wrong person. Its real existence and location are discreet, and only a few people were aware of it.

When time went on and the chance to become corrupt became more apparent, the Will Talisman was needed. When the evil is rampant, The Talisman is given to Alea, a heroine who does not hesitate to fight the dark forces. The talisman was an effective weapon in Aleas fight against the evil powers which she was to encounter on her way.

The Will Talisman is the new power added to the game, and it is an interesting one. The special feature of this Talisman is its unique feature which is its ability to draw Chimeras with powerful magical skills. It’s neat to have mana-wielding Chimeras as additional layers of strategy and variety thrown at the players, thus forcing the latter to start looking at all available solutions in a different way.

In some ways, players are able to wield the Will Talisman. The game has now included a trial mode where the players can practice with this new Talisman. Also, there are new and improved upgrade modes, as well as a unique new mode so that the Talisman skills could be practiced even more.

Apart from the new Talisman power, there are 21 new Chimeras at the player’s disposal to summon. These new allies are giant monsters – Axund, Galmoly, Ashigaeru and Varasaurus. In the current modeling Cho, Gi and Deng each have their own spell casting affinities in the company of Chimera and this give players a variety of ways to enhance their roster and de-fend against their rivals.

The additions of these new Chimeras are desperately needed in the game and should prove for a much more diverse tactical game now. These new allies can be summoned in turns, thus the players are allowed to try out a number of possibilities to choose the most effective strategy.
