Endzone 2 Overview:

Endzone 2 is the strategy genre where you are surviving the leader of a team of people who strive to make their way after some kind of catastrophe. Your objective lies in the rescue and later resettlement of man on the continents which still have areas suitable for living. Because the environment is rock bottom, everything that you do is either a gain or a loss, hence making each decision a critical one.

While the first game was all about constructing one large base, Endzone 2 once again returns those reconnoitring opportunities with multiple zones. These zones also contain different resources and therefore one will have to ration different settlement in order to fully exploit what that particular zone provides. About settler system has been revised to contain large population aspect and also balanced in the management.

One of the additions that are recent and very interesting to me is that of vehicles. You can now move your settlement bus to decide on the most appropriate starting point. It’s only later on that you are able to construct more vehicles which as mentioned earlier can be used to establish trading routes or explore hostile territory.

They have also re-styled the expedition system. Now instead of moving your eyes across heaps of texts you can directly control your explorers in their search of clues, opening secrets and finding valuable items in a detailed ruined world. The graphics of the game have also been improved and this has brought out a better view of the game.

The environment is full of dangers and you need to be able to fight through every threat including radioactive soil, water shortage, toxic rain and sand storms. Below the ruined cities and as you progress through the wastelands you will encounter new zones with specific resources that benefit the settlements.

In order to build and manage the settlements, you’ll have to develop your own ways of handling the resources, constructing buildings and searching for new technologies for your people.
