Forget Overview:

I was able to disorient myself and feel like I wake up in an apartment that is filled with terrifying features and objects lurking in the dark. One night, the protagonist wakes up with no memory of who she is, and a malevolent presence that is never more than a few steps away. The only thing that you know for sure is a rather disturbing enigma of a kid being kidnapped. But is it all true, is it real, or it’s just the outcome of her paranoid imagination? The thing that’s true is yours to find.

You notice that you are in a strange apartment which is pitch black; if you are playing as Joel, you wake up on a couch with a splitting headache. You have no sense of how you wound up at that place; the atmosphere is eerie and dangerous. If I am not mistaken, with every step you take you start getting those eerie hints signaling the fact that there has been a crime committed long long ago, a child’s murder to be precise. Still, the more one learns, the more he or she understands that there is nothing as solitude in this place full of fear.

The apartment appears to be alive and almost each dark nook appears to be housing something that makes the skin crawl. The more you explore its destroyed rooms, the more the feeling that someone is spying on you increases. Apparently, what you’ve sensed as existing only in your imagination exists in the tangible world and is out to get you. There really is no way to ease up, because the threat is just around the corner, though it may often be out of view.

And if you want to make them through you be prepared to consider the odds, raw instinct and guts. Any object that you see can be a way out of this hell but you’d have to be ready for what it is that’ll be in your way. These people have grim dreams that appear all the more real, thus intensifying the plight of trying to differentiate reality from fiction.
