Going Medieval Overview:
In Going Medieval, the world has been decimated by a deadly plague, wiping out 95% of humanity by the end of the 14th century. But some survivors have managed to make it through, and now it’s up to you to help them rebuild their lives in a brutal, post-apocalyptic world reclaimed by nature.
Your first priority is building a safe haven for your survivors. You’ll start small with basic shelters and work your way up to a massive, fortified castle. Using intuitive 3D terrain tools you can design everything from underground caverns to multi-story fortresses. The goal is to create a stronghold which can protect your people from the threats lurking in the wild.
Defending your colony is crucial is this harsh world. External dangers like animals, bandits, and other hostile forces, constantly threaten your survival. You’ll need to build powerful defenses is set traps to ward off attackers. Researching new technologies is crafting weapons and gear for your colonists will give them the edge they need to fend off relentless waves of enemies.
You’ll have to ensure they’re well-fed, warm, and sheltered from the elements.Their emotional well-being is just as important, as their moods will suffer if their needs aren’t met. Keep your villagers happy and healthy, or you’ll face a whole new set of challenges.
As your settlement grows, you’ll encounter strangers is travelers in need of help. You can choose to take them in, growing your population is strengthening your community. Each villager has their own personal story, background, and relationships with others is you’ll have the chance to shape the dynamics of your village by observing and influencing these interactions.
