Liminal Void Overview:

This is the simple description of a horror dungeon crawler where you gasp souls, throw magic spells and regularly meet a gruesome fate. Select one of 4 cartoonish flashy characters which have their own play styles and sometimes the players can listen to them complaining about their troubles which also gives the game a gloomy kind of feel.

You wake up as a member of the Liminal Layer Society, a team of magically protected spell throwers who’s main purpose is to fight evil from the other side that slips through to the world. By making a choice you are sent to the “Liminal Layer” which is in between real and the Void. Stay ready to die that is because in this game, dieing is not a bad thing, it is a means to move forward. Each time a foe falls the player is one step closer to the Void Gods who are in fact the games main bosses.

Throughout the game, you are going to have to gather these Sigil’s an important resource used in the battles with the Void Gods and other adversaries. These Sigils are used to pay for your spells and at the same time help you to safely transport yourself to the next layer. Your life is defined by your health bar and how much you can endure when it comes to the wrong touch of the unclear entities. Again, if you die, you are transferred to a random new layer but you will not be able to get the other Sigils.

Liminal Entities are the supernatural beings which can kill a person at once if he comes in contact with them. But they also have souls heads that you can take in order to achieve even greater magical effects.
