Naribikimura Overview:

One day the protagonist comes across an piece of information while surfing on the internet through a bulletin board, about a village named Naribiki which is infamous. Helpless, he has to walk through the village that is too creepy for him to find the exit out of the village. What he discovers deep into the village of Naribiki, unveils more secretion that ill-text the village.

Taking place in a first-person view, Naribiki Village is a single-online player’s horror exploration game. The goal is to get through the unknown territory that is the village of Naribiki: in the process, players have to collect pieces of information which, when combined, tell the story of the village’s nastiness. The beginning of the tale can be traced back to the year 2000 in which an anonymous person posted a message on a bulletin board regarding a tunnel like formation which seen on a cliff after a big typhoon that brought about a landslide. What is more, one day the protagonist, who resides apposite, feels intrigued by this and decides to check the place. Heading past the tunnel, he arrives at Naribiki Village, which is not shown on any map. He then feels like uncovering the purpose why this village was established.

The game is set in Japan, and much of the game design is based on real life abandoned buildings and ghost towns. Of course there’s Ruins Exploration Mode for players who don’t appreciate horror at all – Mode is the same as in previous game of the developers. This mode erases all horror elements making the players to roam around the village without the horror touch. Players can also manipulate the time of day and as a result get to experience different scenarios the abandoned village has to offer. In this mode, there is such a feature as the camera to take some photographs of the ruins, however, it supplements the explorative aspect of the game.

The game is designed in such a manner that it is compact in its delivery and can be completed in 2 to 3 hours. The developers have clearly stated on what video, live stream, or image sharing can and cannot be made regarding Naribiki Village.You May Also Like: Floors
