Night Shift Nurses is crazy mad scientist gets a wild shot at redemption from someone he totally screwed over—a victim of his twisted experiments. This isn’t your average comeback story though. The ’90s visual novel classic is making a serious return, revamped with a slick modern remake. It’s got updated vibes, a brand-new English translation, and full Japanese voice acting that brings the drama to life.

The story follows Ryuji Hirasaka a genius doctor with zero chill is even less respect for human life. He’s only in it for the chaos, treating people like lab rats. Out of nowhere, he gets invited to work at St. Juliana Hospital, where he runs into Narumi Jinguji, one of his old victims. Instead of calling him out she offers a shocking deal help her build the world’s most corrupt hospital ward.

The cast is stacked with unique characters, starting with Ren Nanase, a future nurse who’s basically the perfect test subject in Hirasaka’s eyes. She’s sincere, kind, and surprisingly respectful toward him, which, let’s be real, is shocking. Then there’s Ako Fujisawa, a quiet beauty who gets teased for being too reserved, but there’s definitely more to her than meets the eye.

Next up is Remi Shinjo, the queen bee of nurses. She’s a clean freak and perfectionist who’s tough on everyone, including herself. Behind her intimidating exterior, though, is a fragile side that shows when she’s called out. And then there’s Makoto Karino, a spoiled patient recovering from a car accident. She’s the hospital head surgeon’s daughter and treats Hirasaka like dirt. It’s a vibe.

Finally, there’s Narumi Jinguji, the mastermind pulling all the strings. Beautiful, powerful, and mysterious, she’s the one who brings Hirasaka into this wild scheme. But why would someone who’s suffered at his hands give him another chance? What’s her endgame? That’s the mystery at the heart of this chaotic and unforgettable story.
