Nightfall Comes Overview:

Nightfall Comes is the 3D rogue-lite action game in the bird’s eye view, where four heroes assemble in a castle as the last one after the apocalypse arrived. In this post apocalyptic world where all civilizations have vanished and the world is inhabited only by monstrous creatures these survivors are those who still have some connection to the old and lost world.

This implies that each of the character is from different origin, different race yet they all have their own role. They have to find a way on how to complete their personal goals despite of the different environment they provide each other. Both of them befriend each other in the determination of hope, reformation, and even vengeance, thus making a team.

The four characters have Personal Biographies and special ways of handling their fights. Some of them depend on the ability to block and avoiding the hits while others rush mindless and get hit in turn. It would be best to do so since the characters approach enemies differently implying that you’ll need to change the playing style to fit each character.

For each character the number of skills is rather large, and you can choose what you like. The above skills can be made better by Glyphs whereby the effectiveness of the respective skill increases with levels. Further, scrolls can be applied in emergencies and the powers can be enhanced using relics.

In case you fail in a combat you are transferred back to a hideout and you lose everything. Nevertheless, it is not the complete ‘reboot’ of the indigenous population, as one might suppose at first glance. These can be permanent upgrades, new places to search for or new ways by which the player can advance in the game and make subsequent runs faster.

The common thing to the expeditions is that the enemies and environments vary while the castles remain invariant. The deeper you go in the castle, you may find out that there are other routes that you have not researched. Every time you reach a certain condition labeled of a node in the Concepts Map, you will need to decide the next step to be taken.
