Rise Eterna War Overview:

Rise Eterna War shows the passion and carnage of Arthbane, a superb general who has to fight one final battle to free his homeland, Ars Rare, from the occupying forces of the enemy. This game is set in Rise of Eterna and it actually takes place 10 years prior to that and in this game you control Arthbane as he tries desperately to rally the troops and take over the capital city Gaiacus.

When you are leading Arthbane in a campaign against the occupying Athracian army you will have to think tactically and be resourceful all to defeat enemy commanders. You can recruit up to 16 different units, and the Chuckwagon allows your troops to rest and be fed but only for 50 gold; you can have 11 legendary heroes such as new characters add to the roster and some old characters as well. More than 40 missions will take you through a race to counteract invasion and reclaim your territory.

Rise Eterna War is an excellent example of mixing real-time strategy, deck-building elements, and resource management. The plot has been mainly built around personalities, specifically on Arthbane who spends the majority of his time mourning the loss of his country. This game is a prologue to a legendary movement of resistance which offers you a worthwhile chance to play almost dark and emotionally packed storyline for hours.

This will put you in the anti-hero spotlight of Arthbane, who was the main character from Rise Eterna, who’ll be spearheading a last stand ten years before the canon story. The game involves decisions and actions together with card collecting, resource management and strategy in total of over 40 missions that are based on the plot. On the way there are 16 various units to gather and 11 legendary heroes to recruit, some of which are going to look quite familiar to the players.

Along the way it is also possible to promote and level up units, and deploy mounted ballista bolts as well to have the upper hand on the opponents.
