Skies above the Great War Overview:

Ever wanted to be the boss of airplanes in World War 1? Like, a whole bunch of airplanes fighting for your country? Skies Above the Great War lets you do just that! You can choose to be the leader for either the Allied or German side, fighting big battles in France and Belgium.

The coolest thing? You can actually jump into any airplane yourself and fly it whenever you want! The planes even have all the damage you might get in a real fight. But you’re not just a pilot, you’re the big boss! You’ll tell your airfields what kind of airplanes to get and who will fly them. You’ll also send them on missions to help you win the war. There are all sorts of missions, from finding the enemy to watching the battle lines, and even blowing things up!

Speaking of blowing things up, you can hire famous airplane companies to build you the best airplanes ever. That way, your planes can fly better than the enemy’s planes. You’ll also be in charge of your airplane bases and your groups of pilots. You can even paint cool pictures on the airplanes and give them nicknames!

Each pilot you have is special and has their own talent. It’s your job to train them well and put them in the right group so they can fight their best. You might even find some famous pilots from history who actually flew in World War 1!

If all that sounds like a lot of work don’t worry. You can let the computer do some of the things for you so you can focus on the parts of the game you like the most.
