Super Antonio Overview:

‘Super Antonio’ is a hard-as-nails 3D platformer that still feels good to play, thanks to tight controls and smooth movement. The goal of the game is to get to the very top, although I should note that this activity is not suitable for the weak-kidded. Each stage is crafted with the purpose of trying one’s patience and almost sadistic in the way it requires a keen eye for detail; it’s a game that will challenge even the most skilled gamer on the first try.

It however must be said that to get the full experience, it is highly recommended that one uses a controller. The game supports the Xbox controllers fully and is therefore quite responsive when played with. If you are a fan of PlayStation or Switch Pro Controllers you should know that they are also compatible with Steam Input under Gamepad Layout so you have your customized control for games.

As for the time you’ll be spending with “Super Antonio” the level of difficulty that you set will determine how long you take to complete the game. It may take a few hours of play time to complete for some while it may take as long as 12 hours of game play for some if they choose a hard level of difficulty.

Here also, players can choose between three levels of difficulty depending on their experience. The “Intended” mode provides the game as it requires to be played – No checkpoints. This makes it quite stressful and is as often as not the kind of problematic that takes your mental stamina to the ultimate limit. It is meant for those people who are much into the idea of thinking over very hard strategies and patient enough to invest time in that.

That being said, there is a setting that would probably be a bit less difficult – the “Hard” mode, if I am not mistaken. In this setting, there is information after the completion of each level as fully completed levels are checkpoints. Then at least when a mistake is made the amount of material lost is not too extensive and hence the game becomes a little more manageable but still very hard.
