Veiled Skies Overview:

Become a part of cloudpunk fantasy surrounded by foxgirls and apply in the world located a great height above the clouds. Rina Seiko, an ex-hitman and a current simple civilian girlfriend Aya Hisagawa is now pulled back into the shady stuff. She then gets a letter from the Fox Empress, which is sealed with the emblem of this royalty.

Soon the Empress being pressured by the newly appointed Minister of Defence turns to Rina for help in recovering the Skystone Codex. It is a book about the heavens containing clues a about what is happening in the skies but at the same time opens up a door to many more sinister forces. There is more than what meets the eye when the Empress asked for Rina’s help without fail.

When Rina is fifteen, her past enemies are back and each of them wants to obtain the codex for his own selfish reasons. The Staten Union that participated in a deadly civil war that threatened to wipe out Kurozaki is back in the series seeking revenge. At the same time, Minister Yuichi Ono, misuses his son Jigen for his selfish needs and wants. To the adrenal mix, we have Eisen Rast, the “Radiant Blademaster” who fights to establish supremacy by defeating the most formidable adversaries in the sky.

It is an epic battle of power politics that spans the last 25,000 years, political conspiracy that Rina and her allies have to unravel. What is more, they have to stay neutral in these ancient wars; additionally, Rina has to cope with her evil “White Demon” personality.

It is an indie jRPG with Post-Cyberpunk themes of “cloudpunk genre” which sets the context in the Kuroverse, a world of just three skydoms. To accomplish this it borrows heavily from Granblue Fantasy and uses the combat system from Bravely Default. The turns can be used instantly on certain victories thus applying theoretical and robust knowledge in real life play or be saved for the later application. Linked with character abilities and equipped items, they can perform tremendous amount of damage on the enemies, and enable huge combo attack.
